^‍‍A massive WELL DONE to everybody who took part in our STC John Sanders memorial event today, you were all AMAZING!
It was an eventful morning - roads awash after biblical rain the night before, a last-minute change of bike route following an unexpected road closure, temporary traffic lights being installed while athletes were out on the course, even reports of a marauding cow. But our determined participants - even our brilliant triathlon first timers - took it all in stride.

Firstly, a massive thankyou to our ace marshals and volunteers, especially our friends from Cheshire Maverick Cycle Club, who despite all the obstacles that fate threw at us, kept our show on theroad and smiles on faces. With out you all giving up your Sunday morning to volunteer the event would never happen so massive thank you to you all.

Also thanks to the Coffee Pod for keeping uscaffeinated, and Scott & the team from Cycle Space for donating so manygreat prizes.

Finally, thanks to everyone who turned up tocompete, whether seasoned triathletes or those who raced for the first timetoday - thanks for picking our event. It was lovely to have you with us, and wehope you enjoyed your experience as much as we enjoyed hosting you- thanks formaking our day so much fun
